It extracts and organizes protein, fat, fiber, ash, moisture, energy and micronutrients when they appear on the label, and includes the carbohydrates estimated from those values.

If something doesn't match the package, you edit the values or the micronutrients by hand and that correction is always respected. When you save, the food enters your pantry, where you mark it as a favorite or filter it by format and category. Data you've already saved doesn't change on its own when you reopen a food.
