What it is

A document archive, ordered by you

The Document Archive is the place inside each pet's profile where you keep their lab results, vaccination records, prescriptions, reports, invoices and medical images as PDF or photo. Files are kept exactly as you add them —no cropping, no changes— sorted by category and dated, so you can find and open them whenever you need them. They're stored in your private iCloud, so they're available across your devices and to the people you share the pet with. PawBook doesn't read or interpret their contents: it simply keeps them in order.

Capabilities

Save, sort and find

Every document in its place, with its date and its context — so nothing gets lost along the way.

Save PDFs and images

Lab results, vaccination records, prescriptions, reports, invoices or X-rays as PDF, JPG, PNG or HEIC, up to 40 MB per document. All in one place.

Sorted by category

Each document is filed into folders like Lab results, X-rays, Prescriptions, Vaccines or Invoices. Empty folders don't show up, so you find what you're looking for in seconds.

Add photos as a document

Use photos from your library —up to 10 at once— to file a paper prescription or report alongside the rest of the paperwork.

Import from other apps

Get a PDF by email or messaging and, with "Open in PawBook", send it to the profile of the pet you choose. You can import several files and sort them one by one.

Link it to a tracking

Attach a lab result or a report to the related symptom or condition trackings; a single document can be linked to several.

Flag it for emergencies

Mark the key documents as important and they'll show up in the emergency card, ready to open in any tight spot.

Save and sort

Add the document and sort it with ease

Pick a PDF or an image from Files, or a few photos from your library. On "Sort the document" you give it a title, choose one or more categories and, if you like, a date and some notes. It's saved exactly as you add it: no OCR, no cropping and no changes.
